Legion Sports expertise can help a beginner learn how to catch while the advance sessions offer reps and practice of diving catches, contested catches, ect. All training sessions below are for 55 minute small group (3-5) training sessions. Individual training sessions can be booked by request.
Objective: Learn proper hand placement, tracking, and soft hands for catching the ball.
Objective: Improve catching while running and adjusting to different angles.
Objective: Learn to catch under pressure, absorb contact, and win 50/50 balls.
Objective: Master catching near the sideline, in tight windows, and off difficult throws.
Objective: Perfect spectacular catches using body extension and concentration.
Legion Sports expertise can expertises in introduction to agility and flag football moves as well as teaching unpredictable movement patterns and combination moves. All training sessions below are for 55 minute small group (3-5) training sessions.
Objective: Develop basic foot quickness, balance, and body control.
Objective: Improve side-to-side movement and introduce basic elusiveness learning how to run in space and "move the flag".
Objective: Improve in rapid direction changes and deception against defenders introducing basic flag football moves: spin, juke, and a step back.
Objective: Learn how to evade defenders in real-game situations. Learn when to apply the basic moves and an introduction to more advanced moves such as the dip, Ole', and 180 pass through.
Legion Sports development This plan focuses on building explosive power, speed, and agility through plyometrics and resistance training. Each level progressively increases intensity, helping athletes develop acceleration, vertical jump, and overall lower-body power. All training sessions below are for 90 minute small group (3-5) training sessions.
Objective: Build a foundation of lower-body strength and basic explosive movement.
Objective: Improve first-step explosiveness and top-end speed.
Objective: Maximize vertical jump height and multi-directional explosiveness.
Objective: Blend speed and power with reactive movement for game-ready explosiveness.
Objective: Train at the highest intensity to maximize athletic explosiveness and power output.
This training plan focuses on developing defensive skills, with an emphasis on basic defensive positioning, flag pulling, and blitzing the quarterback. Each level builds upon the previous one, helping athletes progress from basic fundamentals to advanced defensive techniques.
Objective: Learn proper defensive stance, movement, and flag-pulling basics.
Objective: Improve flag-pulling efficiency and learn how to take proper pursuit angles.
Objective: Master the art of rushing the QB and pulling flags in tight spaces.
All elite and expert level defensive training is position based and offered separately.
